Digital Fingerprints is a security system based on behavioral biometrics that protects users in real time. Everyone has their own unique model of behavior, created in the course of user interactions with the computer, such as moving the mouse or typing on the keyboard. Using a login and password is not the optimal method of user authentication. Sooner or later, they can get lost, broken or fall into the wrong hands. The most secure passwords are long and complicated – therefore hard to remember and harder to use on a daily basis. While typical second-level authentication is often a key step in increasing the level of security, it still requires entering codes, carrying hardware tokens, and is inconvenient.
