AGH Cyber Campus is a unique event organised by the Polish Cybersecurity Cluster #CyberMadeInPoland, the AGH Faculty of Computer Science, the AGH Cyber Security Centre, and the Zero Day – students academic club. The initiative is aimed at people who are just beginning their adventure with cybersecurity (students, high school students, enthusiasts), but also all those who are already at a more advanced stage of exploring the secrets of the cyber world.

 

On 3 and 4 December 2024, we invite you again to the AGH Faculty of Computer Science building, this time for the two-day event AGH Cyber Campus 2.0. Details coming soon.

Brief summary of last year’s edition

 

More than 100 students and graduates had the opportunity to listen to lectures and presentations and talk to experts, representatives of cyber companies!

 

Weronika Słomian from Regional IT Centre Krakow talked about careers in the military sector.
Dr Łukasz Faber from AGH presented job opportunities at the university and roles and tasks in the Security Operations Centre.
Łukasz Bodziarczyk and Alperen Kara from HSBC showed the work of cyber security specialists in corporate realities and talked about its automation.

 

Katarzyna Dąbrowska from SISOFT Cybersecurity Consulting spoke about the role of compliance in cyber security. Bernadeta Zalewska and Mateusz Pstruś talked about education through STM Academy. Tomasz Gaj from Findia presented the most important aspects of technical risk assessment in cyber insurance, while Michał Suchocki representing CyCommSec presented the role of an effective cyber offensive in risk management.

 

Cloud cyber security was discussed by Paweł Kusiński and OT security by Andrzej Cieślak, CEO of Dynacon.

 

The event concluded with a presentation of ISSA Poland’s activities by Grzegorz Pająk.
